Since the first glance, the PC Power Shredder provides user with neat interface, easy-to-use features and generally seems to be a user-friendly program.

No wonder it's easy to use. It has just a few feature which are not anything extraordinary for this kind of software. The PC Power Shredder is able to shred the selected file, the folder or the entire hard disk drive.

It can also shred the recycle bin, but not Temporary Files, such as Microsoft Office  and Internet Explorer leave behind. Want to shred them? Then you would have to search for them manually. It's alright when you are advanced user, but still even the advanced users might encounter the problem of searching for this data because it's stored in far paths and also it might be placed in several folders. Certainly it is a disadvantage.

Moreover the options won't give you a variety of choice. Unlike many other programs of this kind, the different methods of shredding are not provided. The only thing you can choose here is the number of overwriting the file.

Besides that, program is working properly within the provided features. The Scheduler is probably a nice feature but the trial version doesn't allow you to actually try this one.

The utility integrates with Windows shell and you can directly start shredding by right-click on the selected folders/files and selecting File Shredder from Windows Explorer.

The user's feedback is mostly positive. The support team is working well.
