Once again, Windows does not physically remove deleted files from your hard disk. Emptying your Recycle Bin does NOT protect you at all. Your sensitive files can be recovered, even after you format your hard disk! When you delete a file from Windows, Windows just mark the file as deleted in file allocation table, but the data of the file is still in your hard disk, there are many tools available which can let others easily recover your sensitive files even you format your hard disk.

I can't say this very shredder is an outstanding and breakthrough one, but it has a nice feature besides all the regular ones: it is capable of shredding the entire folders.

Besides that, the tool is quite ordinary. The shredding is as usual supposed to be made by user's manual file selection. AbsoluteShield offers only two shredding methods: Quick (2 passes) and Standart (7 passes)

The issue the features are ordinary and all the files are supposed to be selected by hand. Suppose, you want to delete the recent files different programs create or the temporary internet files. This will take quite a time!

This is probably why the tool is a freeware. You can download this File Shredder for free. Anyway, the good things are not those we get for free. This software will steal lots of your time and nerves.
